Dr. Niu is an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences at Dalian University of Technology. His research interests focus on investigating the association between the mortality/incidence of a certain disease with its potential risk factors using survival analysis. Specific areas of interests include multivariate analysis, variable selection, mixture models, statistical computing, and public health applications such as epidemiology and cancer research.
